Invited by Emanoel Araújo, Baby Garroux coordenated the exposition "Arte e Religiosidade no Brasil e Heranças Africanas" (“Art and Religiosity in Brazil and African Inheritances”, Art Gallery of the State of São Paulo, 1997-1998), the exposition Altar dos Orixás(“Altar of the Orixas”, Art Gallery of the State of São Paulo, 1999-2000), the exposition Negro de Corpo e Alma – Brasil 500 Anos (“Black from Body and Soul – Brazil 500 Years”, Art Gallery of the State of São Paulo, 2000-2001); Convento das Mercês, city of São Luiz, State of Maranhão, 2000 – 2001; and Casa França-Brasil Rio de Janeiro, 2000 - 2001).
